Qatar Career Fair’s mission is centered on the development and implementation of a slew of programs and initiatives aimed at spreading awareness around career advancement and planning, as well as at fostering a career culture within the Qatari community. One such initiative that embodies its vision and mission is the annual Qatar Career Fair, which introduces the Qatari youth to work life across private and public institutions in efforts to raise awareness around career planning and empowers them to get a head start in the labor market.

The Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and SME development supports Qatari youth in their career development, whether they choose to join the private and public sector workforce or start their own entrepreneurial ventures. As such, the centre provides advisory and guidance services, as well as a number of programs aimed at reinforcing career awareness and an initiative-taking and proactive culture among high school and college students.

In a strategic collaboration aligning both their visions and missions, the QCF has partnered with The Bedaya Center in 2013 to present Estathmer, an initiative that falls under the framework of the Qatar Career Fair. The Estathmer competition capped its overwhelming success with a group of six startups that were offered the opportunity to showcase their products during the fair before visitors, partners and media.

In line with the Bedaya Centre’s role in supporting small to medium enterprises, and QCF’s long term vision to raise awareness around various career advancement opportunities, we see great opportunity in reiterating this partnership to empower Qatari youth and local establishments.
